The Assessment
The client was parked near Dupont Circle as heavy rain began to fall. Finding themselves locked out with no spare key available, they required an immediate, on-site solution. Our dispatcher confirmed an exact phone quote based on the vehicle’s make and model, then dispatched a licensed technician right away.
The Implementation
Our mobile workshop arrived fully equipped. The technician first used specialized, non-destructive entry tools to safely unlock the car door without causing a scratch to the paint or weatherstripping. Using advanced diagnostic and key-cutting equipment housed in our van, we decoded the vehicle’s lock cylinder. We then cut a new laser-cut key and programmed the internal transponder chip to sync perfectly with the car’s immobilizer system.
Long-Term Support
Before departing, our team provided the client with the option to cut an additional spare key during the same visit to prevent future lockouts. We also ensured the client’s information was securely deleted from our programming tools to maintain total vehicle security, consistent with industry best practices and our professional standards.
