Contact DC Local Locksmith
Call or text with the location and a description of the work. Ask about availability and the full quote.
Confirm the scope and price
Ask which openings, keys, parts, and functions are included in the proposed work. Confirm the total and any conditions attached to the quote. If an inspection reveals additional damage or a different hardware requirement, ask for the revised scope and price before authorizing that work.
For a repair, distinguish temporary stabilization from permanent work. For an installation, identify what will be reused and what will be replaced. Keep the agreed details with the invoice so a later service question can be matched to the original job.
Ask for the applicable warranty terms
Product and labor warranties can have different providers, durations, and conditions. This page does not promise a blanket warranty or a universal coverage period. Request the written terms that apply to the exact hardware and installation you are purchasing.
Useful questions include who handles a claim, what evidence is needed, whether a return visit is included, and what maintenance the product requires. Manufacturer documentation should identify the product warranty; any installer commitment should be included in the agreement for the work.
Know how to raise a concern
If something is not operating as expected, contact (202) 830-0706 or the contact form. Have the invoice reference, date of service, and a description of the problem ready. Safe photographs can help explain what has changed.
If an opening is unsafe or there is an immediate emergency, use the appropriate emergency services and tell the team the nature of the problem. Do not rely on an ordinary contact-form response for an urgent safety issue.
Review the Terms of Service and customer-care information before booking.
