Ask about current opportunities

Describe the areas in which you have worked: residential hardware, automotive keys, commercial doors, access control, or customer dispatch. Include your general availability and the geographic area you can cover. Do not send identity documents, background reports, or confidential records from a previous employer in an initial message.

Make your experience specific

Useful examples explain the work you personally performed and the tools or systems involved. Distinguish training from current certification. If you hold a relevant credential, identify the issuing organization and its current status so it can be checked through the appropriate process.

Customer-facing roles also need clear communication about authorization, job scope, changes, and handover. A short description of how you managed a difficult service inquiry is more useful than a general claim of expertise. Avoid sharing customer names or security details without permission.

Confirm the terms of any role

If a suitable opportunity is available, ask about the duties, employment or contracting arrangement, working hours, pay, equipment, travel, and any required checks.
