Identify Which Layer of Access Has Failed

You may have a working unit key but no building fob, or building access but no unit key. Explain the distinction before booking. A common lobby entrance, restricted key system, or electronic credential usually involves the building’s responsible administrator.

Do not prop open a common security door or defeat its latch while waiting. Arrange a permitted entry route with management or the front desk.

Check the Building’s Procedure

Have the building address, floor, unit number, and an authorized contact ready. Ask whether the provider must be approved, supply particular records, check in, or attend during an agreed time window. Keep Access Disputes Separate
